The Masden Ranch encompasses 618.2 acres of untouched Colorado high country, situated just south of the charming Arrowhead subdivision and home of the inviting and well-regarded Arrowhead Lodge and Restaurant.
Perched between elevations of 9,400 and 9,800 feet, the ranch boasts nearly two miles of tributaries feeding into Middle Blue Creek, meandering gracefully through the property. Three shimmering ponds lie beneath canopies of mature aspen and spruce, creating sanctuaries within the alpine forest. The landscape moves beautifully from dense woodlands to sweeping subalpine meadows, dotted with sagebrush and native grasses that paint the high country in seasonal color, while in the winter the average annual snowfall reaches above 250".
Public BLM lands embrace the property’s eastern boundary, offering seamless access to a broader wilderness corridor. Wildlife abounds, including mule deer, elk, black bear, and upland game that traverse this terrain. The ranch lies within Colorado Game Management Unit 66 and qualifies for the coveted Landowner Preference Program for hunting privileges. The Masden Ranch is truly a rare opportunity for anyone who dreams of owning a mountain retreat surrounded by beauty, wildlife, and solitude.
